Do pharmacists syringe ears?

When it comes to ear wax removal, we know that our clients can oftentimes feel overwhelmed by the mass of information out there. That is why we are here to answer all of your questions and be 100% transparent in our answers. One question we hear a lot is about how pharmacists can help you improve your hearing and overall ear health. If you’re looking for an answer to this question, then read on to learn more about microsuction.

Here at Ear Wax Care, we have a well-trained team of NHS trained Audiologists. We will check your ear health to see if you have a build-up of wax. If they need to, they will do a micro-suction procedure to remove the wax. You can rest assured that this is a quick, safe, and effective method to remove excess wax which does not cause any damage to the eardrum. The Audiologist will use magnification and a bright LED light to give a clear view of your ear canal and eardrum.

Depending on the amount of earwax, our specialists may recommend that you use olive oil drops to soften the earwax for a few days before the microsuction procedure. The suction method is comfortable and much safer than other forms of ear wax removal such as irrigation or ear syringing.

It is very normal to feel unsure when it comes to looking after your ear health. But that is why we are here to help. We even offer home visits if you would prefer and feel more comfortable.

Get in touch with us here at Ear Wax Care today to find out how we can help. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have about microsuction and about how best to maintain your ear health.
