How to remove earwax at home ?

Earwax is an essential and completely natural part of your body’s way of cleaning, lubricating, and protecting your ear canal by trapping dirt and slowing bacterial growth. Earwax blockages are common when people use cotton ear buds to clean their ears, or push other items in their ears. Oftentimes, this will worsen the earwax build-up as it pushes the wax deeper into the ear.

If you find that you are suffering from earwax build-up, such as having symptoms like hearing loss, earache, ringing in your ears (tinnitus), or vertigo (dizziness or feeling sick), then there are some simple ways to deal with this at home.

Using olive oil is a simple and effective way to remove earwax at home. It is a natural remedy to remove ear wax and takes a decently short time to work. We recommend using it by putting 2 to 3 drops of olive oil in your ear 3 to 4 times per day. You should do this for 3 to 5 days. We suggest using a dropper while lying your head on one side for a few minutes, which should be enough time to let the oil work its way through your ear canal. Over the course of a couple of weeks, lumps of earwax will fall out of your ear. You can use room temperature olive oil or heat the oil to a slightly warm temperature in a pan.
