EAR WAX

Is earwax removal safe during pregnancy?

If you’re pregnant, you will of course want to do anything you can to ensure that you keep yourself and your baby’s health in good shape. There are a number of medications and medical procedures which professionals will advise against, as they could impact your pregnancy. Here at Ear Wax Care, we have a wealth of experience dealing with a range of clients. This is because our trained team of NHS clinicians has been serving since 2014. Today, we are going to discuss how you can deal with ear wax removal during pregnancy.

If you are pregnant and find that you have excess ear wax, you might be experiencing a range of symptoms including loss of hearing, an earache, and a feeling of fullness in your ears. This can of course be uncomfortable, and you’ll want to find a solution.

For an easy, at-home fix, you will want to treat your ears using olive oil. This is easy as you just lie on your side and add 2 to 3 drops of olive oil. This can be repeated 3 to 4 times a day for 3 to 5 days. After 2 weeks, your ears should be cleared up.

If you’re seeking professional help, such as microsuction, we would recommend getting in touch with our team here at Ear Wax Care to discuss how we can help. We will ensure that we look after you and your baby!
